Ski Apartment in France

The nearest airports are Turin in Italy which is approximately 1.5 to 2 hours and Grenoble in France which is approximately 2 to 2.5 hours. Easyjet, British Airways and Ryan Air all fly there from various UK destinations, however, check the schedules for flights outside of ski season as some are limited.

Car hire is available at Turin and Grenoble with all the main hire companies. I have had good prices from Europcar (slightly cheaper through Easyjet) and Holiday Autos (see links page). The drive from Grenoble is over the Col du Lautaret, a beautiful scenic drive. The drive from Turin is more motorway and takes you through Montgenevre another pretty town. When you hire a car make sure you also hire equipment for the snow, i.e. snow chains or snow tyres just in case!

You could also take a train down from Paris to Briancon.

If you fancied driving all the way down it is approximately a 10 hour car journey from the ferry port at Calais. There is plenty of parking at the rear of the building.
