Ski Apartment in France

Why stay in a hotel at more than twice the price or book a chalet if there are just two, three or even four of you? With beautiful mountain views to the rear, this self catering studio is the perfect place to stay for your skiing or snowboarding holiday. It has everything you need to cater for yourselves, with a fully equipped kitchenette, or if you prefer there's a choice of lovely restaurants nearby and a couple of boulangeries just a few minutes walk away, where you can buy your fresh croissants and pain au chocolat in the morning.

The commercial centre is situated approximately 500m away, where you will find a selection of ski/snowboard and boot hire shops, supermarket, post office, local Dr's surgery, bars, restaurants, clothes shops, gym and beauty salon, as well as a range of other shops.

The main lifts are just next to the commercial centre, where there is a chair lift, gondola lift and a telecabine, this is also where you would buy your lift passes (for prices and details see links page). There is also a regular ski bus serving the villages. You can obviously make your way around the valley via the slopes and lifts, but if you end up in another village at the end of the day, you might want to catch the bus back. You can also visit the Old Town of Briancon, where there are some lovely restaurants, shops and bars, in the pretty cobbled streets.

The studio has the following facilities:

* Two single Bunk Beds and comfortable Double Sofa Bed
* Equipped kitchenette area, with cutlery, crockery and utensils
* Microwave/Grill, two ring hob, fridge, kettle, coffee maker
* Bathroom with a sit-in style bath and shower over
* TV and Playstation 2
* English and French speaking local Manager
* Bed linen supplied (you need to bring your own towels)

* Bike storage room for summer cyclists
